Amazing place !!! Atmosphere and ambience was spectacular love the little details , food was amazing the wings came out piping hot and were delicious. Drinks were strong with citrus tastes, all the mixed cocktails looked amazing but my wallet would have cried!! will recommend and come back !!!

This place is one of my favorite tiki bars to visit in the San Fernando Valley. They have a great selection of drinks across the board and I especially love what they come up with for their seasonal drinks! When visiting, we are typically just there for a few drinks (like our recent visit) but the couple of times we have had food, it is prepped and served very quick and tastes fantastic! For your sides like the fries and tots, they have a ton of seasoning and sauce choices, so you can customize them exactly they way you want, there are so many combinations! My wife and I brought our 5 month old baby and sat in the lounge area with sofas and lounge chairs. I would highly recommend this seating area with little ones that might need some space to move around. They have the standard booths, tables and bar seating, but with our baby sleeping in his car seat, the lounge area allowed for more space to set his seat down while the adults enjoyed a couple of drinks.

A nice restaurant with friendly service, a great theme, and good happy hour prices. Conveniently close to the Burbank airport and a good place to get some drinks/good before a flight. The happy hour Mushroom dumplings were very tasty!

My husband and I visited Broken Compass Tiki for lunch this past weekend. I have Celiac disease and heard about it via the Find Me Gluten Free app. Supposedly they have a dedicated fryer and many items are marked gluten-free on their menu. The inside looks really cool. You get a "boarding pass" and that's used by the staff to put you at a table. Staff was pretty good and on top of refills. Why not a higher rating? I ended up paying $25 for a gluten-free chicken sandwich and a side of tots. I felt like everything had an upcharge - even ketchup costs an extra dollar when you order a side of tater tots! I understand if anything after your first sauce costs extra, but really, not even 1 ketchup is included on a $4 upcharge to add a side of either tots / fries / potato smiles / onion rings? My "Hot or Not chicken sandwich" by itself was $19 and then I got an (undisclosed) $2 upcharge for a gluten-free bun. We didn't end up getting anything but water because even MOCKTAILS were $16 a piece!!! I want to support small, local businesses, especially in this economy but come on! It's a tiki bar and grill. I live in Las Vegas and this is casino level pricing for a non-alcoholic drink. Ov

One of the best additions to the Tiki scene in LA. Always enjoy my drinks here and the cocktail of the month is always a blast. Don't sleep on all the homemade sauces. God bless the HORK.
